    "Rob Collini made this the best car buying experience we've ever had, hands down! We bought this car as an 18th birthday/high school graduation gift for our daughter. From the start, Rob treated her with respect and a joyful spirit that made the experience a true celebration. When he responded to our initial inquiry, we had him speak directly with Catherine. He spent over 45 minutes answering all of her questions, and responding to the questions we were shouting from the background. We were immediately impressed that he would take that kind of care and time, talking with a 17 year old! By the time we met Rob, and took the test drive, there was no question in our mind that this was the car for us and that we wouldn't buy it from anyone else. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the car, its safety (very important to us parents) and all of its features (very important to the teenager). (He even taught me things about my BMW that I hadn't learned in 4 years!) He made the process so incredibly fun! He truly embodies the spirit of the Mini: he's a high quality product with a ton of personality!     "I don't think you need to take such a huge profit on the add ons that you push - the 3M film I opted to do retails for approximately $299 so thnk a charge of $499 is excessive. Salesman Mark was great to work with. Since I chose to lease,I didn't haggle on price much.     "I can't tell you how helpful and accommodating my Motoring Advisor, Mark Carroll, was while we went through the process of figuring out what was going to happen with my wrecked 2010 JCW Clubman and then through the purchase of my new Coupe S. One of the things I particularly appreciated was during the "delivery", Mark recognized that I, being a current Mini owner and enthusiast, didn't need to walked through every feature on my new Coupe S, but he did take the time check with me about what I was aware of and then was able to focus on the few minor differences between the 2010 and the 2012. A fantastic sales experience. Thank you! Also, the new finance person, Robin, deserves to be mentioned, too. I've never seen a finance person take the time to come out to join me and the salesperson out at the desk and sit down with us to talk and get the process started. I don't know if that's something Mini insists on or if that's just Robin's personal touch. Efficient and personable, that's a great combination. And as always, Chris Margetts, my Service Advisor, who had worked with me on several occasions with routine service and some minor damage repair on my 2010, stopped by a couple of times during all this to make sure things were going smoothly and provide a little levity as we mourned the loss of my Clubby. Damitria Wright in the collision center was a consummate professional through the delivery of my Clubman to the collision center to informing me that I needed to come pick up the last of my belongings left in it. I really appreciate her attention. All in all, nearly every part of Global Mini contributed to what led up to the purchase of my 2012 Coupe S.     "A few things: When I brought my car in a month or two ago for its scheduled maintenance I told my service guy (Lonnie) that there was a leak. The car was given its maintenance and I was told that they couldn't see a leak, but I said, well, I'm not crazy. I brought it in this week for the recall work and told them I still have a leak and now the temperature warning light is coming on (also the heat doesn't work) - I waited for over 4 hours and then Lonnie told me the serviceman was still looking for it and they gave me a rental for the rest of the day. They finally found the problem and fixed it, so that's good, but I am disappointed they didn't take more time and listen to me the first time I mentioned it and that I waited so long and still had to take a rental. When I got the car back, the phone system isn't working and the radio settings are gone _ I assume they must have unplugged something. it would have been nice to have been told this so I would not be frantically trying to make a phone call from my car and discover the system wasn't working. Finally, the new facility is not as nice for waiting. At the old one, there were a lot of electrical plugs with places to sit to work on one's computer. Now there is only one or two and they are located by the couches. I miss the cafe also, especially if I'm there for 4 hours."   –   Elizabeth J., Atlanta, GA Mar 12, 2012

I called twice to check on my vehicle and when I connected I was told the car was ready. When I got there my Rep was very busy and the Receptionist couldn't explain the charges so I waited again. My Rep explained everything to my satisfaction but the receptionist hadn't pulled my keys so I had to wait again for my car. As I said, it was very hectic the day I was there and I understand the delays.
